Magazine Mock Ups

This is my first initial idea. the image is a casual shadow image of a feminine audience. the target audience is to a rock and roll type of audience as you can see an electric guitar in the image. The image was designed to be large so that it can draw the audience' attention. cover lines and main headlines would help the page stand out more also. i also intend to use a type of masthead that will be suitable for rock and roll type music and it must contain capital letters and exclamation marks for effect .

this is one of my other ideas. i kept it nice and simple as i want it to be easy to read and understand especially for young people. the cover lines are the main attraction but there will also be two images that will be shown. 1 big and 1 small.

this particular front cover has a very large image and a big masthead at the top of the page. there are also many feature stories and headlines on the front alert the reader about what they are about to read. there is an arrow for one the main features and the arrow points to the area of the page that is meant to be turned. cover lines and headlines are tilted and are in different shapes and sizes.

the image on this example, covers the whole of the front page and has a large masthead. the front cover contains freebies and a few short and simple cover lines for the readers. there are also news reports. a bar code is visible on the bottom left of the page.

this would be my first choice for a contents page because it simple
stands out and there isn't really much to read except the content. there is a very large image as the background and that brings effect to the page as it takes up the whole page. the title of the contents is in grafiti and this means that the target audience would appeal to young people especially in the hip-hop culture

this contents page would be my second choice to appeal to a young audience as the title of the contents page is in grafiti and it contains images and descriptions of the images. this makes it easier for the audience to read and understand and they wont find it boring as the descriptions are short and simple.

this contents page would appeal to a more younger teenage audience from about the age of thirteen as the way the contents is laid out looks a bit childish and there are patterns. there are only 2 small images and the title of the magazine slides down the left hand side of the page.

this is one of the simplest contents pages i made. it is short and simple with only the contents title, the features and the image. this would be for a younger audience as it is easier to read and to understand. there is also a second little image which precedes to another story or headline.

this is another one of my good choices as it would appeal to a young audience with the grafiti writing and the short simple descriptions and small image. all the headlines on the contents have exclamation marks at the end of them. this contents page is more of a hip hop and street music type of audience

this was actually my very first idea; but i developed this to make my other contents pages. it is very short and simple but its not suitable to use; it must be developed for it to look better and more attractive to appeal to its target audience
